The picture review section lags and takes about 10 seconds to get from one picture to the next. Also if you take a picture and quickly tap the pic review icon the app crashes. Crashes also happening when using. It’s nice. A bit slow/laggy when messing with settings. THe built in photo viewer isn’t really usable, takes forever to load pictures, so you need to use an alternative app, however it will only show the most recent picture, you can’t scroll through the album.

I can’t complain on much with this app, except that it doesn’t work well with the lockscreen-camera-swipe and that it fairly often either can’t connect to the camera or crashes when opening. Usually crashes seem to be appearing when I don’t close it by long pressing the settings icon and instead use the Home button or lock the screen. I loved all the manual control, ease of use and a very nice interface. Some other camera apps have a really ugly UI. Loved saving in RAW too! I did have a couple empty RAW files, 2 out of 7 shots.  ! Love the addition of the rapid capture, comes in handy for sure. If there was a way to add a slow mo feature too would be great. The photo gallery seems to be a bit buggy though and crashes when viewing. Also seems to take a whole to load pictures.

This app takes full advantage of Lollipop’s Camera2 API, and therefore requires it to be properly implemented in your Android ROM. If your device runs on Lollipop, and still the app is not compatible with it, please contact your ROM provider (e.g. Samsung, LG) and ask them to fully implement Camera2 API.
