I send you email, can you add google chrome ( flash ) as alternate player? Thanks.  Even thoe I can find EPG setting now when I configure link to the XMLTV file it still doesnt work. It works when configured on the XBMC system. Made sure that channel names are the same in XMLTV file an in the channel list file so they should be matched. So why it doesn’t work? very useful app but can’t add custom icons to tv channels though it says it’s possible. To the developer of this app: plz explain how to add custom tv icons or logo for the channels.

After you watch TV from external playlist and close IPTV – the stream actually remains active and eats internet traffic. You have to remove IPTV from tasklist to break this connection, otherwise it lasts permanently, drastically slowing down all the system and narrowing internet channne. Proved on different devices with different players in app settings. Please fix this. Best app so far for simple iptv. If u can add a remove button for unuse playlist and also icon path.. I will give 5 star.. cheeers.

Setup instructions:

* First you’ll need to input channels list (m3u or xspf playlist), you can get it from your ISP or find free channels list in the web.

* If app asks to setup UDP proxy, please do it, see instructions below.

Installing UDP proxy for multicast streams:

Sometimes m3u files on Android could be deleted by the system. This happens because Android scans sd-card, reads m3u playlists and fixes them by deleting the links to files which could not be found on your sd-card. Since you have URLs instead of files in your playlist, Android thinks that playlist is empty and deletes it. To avoid this just create some folder, place there empty “.nomedia” file and your m3u playlist. After that Android will exclude that folder from scanning and won’t touch the playlist.

Alternatively, you can place your playlist to some web server (Dropbox public link is one of the options) and specify its URL in the app.
